We, the people of the US of A

Agree everybody oughta have their say,

Free speech rights are guaranteed for me and you

By the first amendment to the constitooooo

For exchange of ideas, opinions and phil-il-il-il-losophies

Is the basis for a civi-vi-vi-vi-vi-vivilized soci-ci-ci-ci-ciety

 

But, to those, who would shout above us all

Usurp our rights, by stompin’ on the small,

To the evil corporations, who done bought the gov-o-ment

Standin’ in their bully-lu-lu-lully pulpits,

Their rage to vent

And try to take our rights

While they control with “Money Might”

Rant their lies, while they muffle out our cries,

I say…

So, I propose that we adopt a plan

Make it the 33rd Amendment to the constitu-shan

When We determine that the government’s a liar

Or a candidate for office got their pants on fire

All the people will rise, place their hands on their hearts

And sing, in unison, these words of humor, truthiness, and art…
